A Customer Program Director is required by this leading electronics company based in Hampshire, office near Southampton, commutable from Portsmouth, Fareham, Havant and Waterlooville on the Hants South Coast.
The Customer Program Director will be responsible for leading multiple projects to ensure overall product delivery on time and on budget to external customers. In doing this, you will be required to liaise with internal staff, external customer and manufacturers / ODMs in the Far East to bring together all elements of specific projects.
The experienced Program Director / Project Manager will need to come from an electronics product engineering environment, preferably wireless communications or consumer electronics and have a mix of software / firmware electronics, be degree qualified in Electronic Engineering, or a similar equivalent and have a number of years experience specialising in delivering projects and programmes of high volume electronic solutions to customers. You will have been responsible for managing a number of Project Engineers / Project Managers leading a multi discipline team. A qualification in project management, such as Prince 2, PMP may help but proven industry experience is critical.
